New for 2008 - Majestic Awnings is introducing the Lateral Shade or also referred to as the Privacy Shade to their product offerings.lateral shade or privacy shade opened on patio

New lateral shade for decks, patios, and balconies to provide privacy and block late day sun. 

Excellent for a Southern Exposure to keep the late day sun from sweeping in from the side of your awning.  

Provides and extra level of Privacy for people living in a Townhouse or Condo.

This lateral shade awning is typically installed against the wall and manually pulled out by hand. The integrated spring shaft tensions the fabric and gives optimum hold. When rolled in, the fabric is protected in the elegant extruded aluminum cassette box.  

The lateral shade is available in a white powder coated finish with either a mesh or acrylic fabric.  Maximum dimensions are a 8 ft. height and a projection of 11' 6" with a mesh or 10' ft. with a acrylic fabric.

Convenience - RTS enables convenient control of your awning from a distance, sitting in your chair or sitting at your table. No need to get up and go to the switch.

Protection - Sun and Wind sensors enable you to control Mother Nature with automatic control to extend when there's intense sun or retract when there are strong wind gusts.

Comfort - The RTS remote enables control of the awning at the touch of a button, thus providing instant shade and protection form the sun.
