and privacy.

Motorized Option -
Turn the sun on and off
with the push of a button:
With a fashionable and
functional retractable
awning you'll find yourself
enjoying your deck, patio
or terrace more often
because you can conveniently
provide shade from the
sun by simply pressing
a button. That's right,
sun shading when you
want it and UV protection
on demand! With the optional
RTS remote capability,
you'll be able to operate
the awning where
you sit and not at
the wall switch.

Sensor Options - Automatic
protection against
heat, glare and UV rays:
When the sun shines, the Decorator Somfy-Matic
sun sensor activates the control and motor to
extend your awning fully, shading your home inside
and out. You can adjust the Decorator Somfy-Matic's
sunlight sensitivity. On a cloudy day, the sensor
activates the control to retract your awning so it
will be protected and out of view. With the RTS wireless
connectivity, eliminate complex wiring between the sensor
and the motor.

Sensor Options - Automatic
protection against wind:
When the wind gusts, the Decorator Somfy-Matic wind sensor
activates the control to retract your motorized awning,
protecting it from damaging high winds and rain. The
sensitivity (mph) of the wind sensor can be adjusted. With
the RTS wireless connectivity, eliminate complex wiring between
the sensor and the motor.

Sensor Options - Wireless
Automatic protection
against wind:
Unlike the Wind Sensor above, this sensor is a
wireless, battery powered wind sensor that will
automatically retract the awning when it detects the
awning moving from wind or vibrations. The wireless
sensor is not unsightly and is inconspicuous; an ideal
appendage to protect your awning.

Retractable Privacy or Shade Screen:
While your retractable awning's pitch and projection are adjusted to
block the sun's path, a sun rise or sun set can be outside the awning's
settings. Add a retractable screen that can be lowered when needed and
retracted otherwise. When retracted, the screen looks as any ordinary
awning valance.

Canopy Awnings
Canopy Awnings can be retractable
or fixed (statioinary or rigid);
however, their use is basically
different from the free standing
retractable awnings describe
above. The Canopy awning comes
in many different configuration
styles and while mainly used
in the commercial market, is
often used for windows in the
residential community but is
certainly not limited to where
and how used. Different configuration

Canopy awnings can be backlit or have gooseneck lighting
above. The framing can be visible and be colored to match the
canopy fabric, or a egg crate soffit can be provided to finish the
bottom and hide the frame. Add a sign panel, and you now can provide
signage for the business or prominaently display your address.
Canopies offer a variety different
styles and options that can provide unique appearances
that can highlight your business or extended
the design of your building.
